Physica is a boutique physiotherapy studio that was built for one purpose. To empower all patients to improve their health. Our goal is to get you better faster, in the minimum amount of sessions needed. We aim to optimize rehab and performance to inspire your health. Whether you are recovering from a work injury, an athlete competing in high level performance or a weekend warrior getting back to your favorite activities, at Physica we thrive on offering one on one services and providing quality of care to ensure you can perform at your best.

Our mission at Physica is to continue bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. We don’t separate health and performance. We see them as a continuum to help you achieve your goals. You will not become dependent on the therapist, instead, we will teach you ways to prevent your injury from reoccuring, by developing a program for you to do to get stronger, and move better. This will enable the patient/athlete to become more in tune with his or her body, and thus allows you to take control of your health.

*We bill directly to all major insurances, and we accept ICBC claims.*

Dynamic Gait analysis is based on 2 stages.

A customized assessment is performed to assess foot, knee and hip movements together with a movement screen to help us assess where the nature of pain is coming from.

After the musculoskeletal assessment, we then use a highly advanced force measurement platform that gives us accurate analysis and information on foot position, pressure areas, 2D/3D analysis, load development and distribution during the walking pattern. This technology uses thousands of sensors that helps us understand the dynamics of movement during the gait cycle.

Dynamic Gait Analysis is covered under your health insurance, under Physiotherapy benefits. The assessment is performed by a Registered Physiotherapist.
